The first trailer for the upcoming Paramount Picture movie Sonic the hedgehog The movie was dropped yesterday, and it's fair to say that the online reaction has been rather hostile, with many fans contesting how Sonic was portrayed in this widescreen adaptation.
As is often the case in these situations, Sonic fan enthusiasts quickly got to work and we already see "refined" versions of the character that are much closer to the original design – which is pretty amazing when the amount that must have been spent on the work of CGI seen in the said trailer is considered.
