Rangers 2021-22 schedule released – Blueshirt Banter

The NHL has released the New York Rangers regular season schedule for the 2021-22 season.

The Blueshirts’ home opener is on Oct. 14, 2021 against the Dallas Stars, but they kick off their road season in the nation’s capital against the Washington Capitals on October 13. The Rangers will meet Colin Blackwell and the rest of the NHL. expansion team, the Seattle Kraken, on Halloween. The Kraken will make its first visit to the Garden on Sunday, January 30.

The 2021-22 regular season ends April 29, 2022 and will feature a game between the Rangers and the Capitals. All playing times are yet to be determined.

Schedule distribution

The Metropolitan Division is back to the eight teams it had before last season. The Rangers play eight games in October and will kick off November with a trip to western Canada (and Seattle).
