The Blueshirts have engaged in a wave of taxi staff movements this week. Colin Blackwell, who co-piloted the 3-2 overtime victory on Thursday in Buffalo, has joined the taxi team twice since his initial recall on Jan. 23, saving the club $ 6,250 per day he is no longer on the NHL list. Jack Johnson, currently injured, and Brendan Smith would need waivers to spend time on the taxi crew.
