LEWISTON, N.Y. (WKBW) – Rapper Kodak Black is one of four Florida men arrested at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge.

According to the New York State Police, Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was with three other men who were trying to enter the United States when they were arrested at the border for possession of weapons and drugs. Police said Kodak Black had marijuana and a 9mm Glock pistol that he did not declare inside the Cadillac Escalade that he was driving.

Black was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon and illegal possession of marijuana. Two other men in the car with him, the president of Stetson, aged 24, and Madarrow Smith, aged 20, were also arrested for possession of weapons.

Another car was traveling with the group, and the police said the driver had declared two loaded handguns but had not reported a third found by the police in the trunk. Police also said they found marijuana in the car and arrested Jeantony Saintmelus, 22.

The four men were brought before the Lewiston City Court and taken to the Niagara County Jail instead of a bail. They will be back in court in May.
