Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney arrested for drunk driving near Nashville

Joe Don Rooney – lead guitarist for hugely popular country music group Rascal Flatts – has been charged with impaired driving after crashing into his vehicle in a treeline near Nashville, Tenn., Fox News has confirmed.

The Williamson County Sheriff told Fox News that a deputy responded to a motor vehicle accident shortly after 4 a.m. local time on Thursday, September 9.

Rooney, 45, was arrested for drunk driving.

He was then taken to Williamson County Jail where he was released after posting $ 2,500 bail.
