The Ravens’ streak of injuries in their offensive backfield reportedly continued in Thursday’s practice and they also saw a key member of their defensive backfield fall during the session.

NFL Media reports that running back Gus Edwards and cornerback Marcus Peters each suffered “potentially significant” knee injuries. A follow-up noted that the team fears both players suffered ripped ACLs. The Ravens cut training short after both players were eliminated.

Edwards’ injury follows JK Dobbins tearing ACL and Justice Hill’s ripped Achilles on the Ravens back medical list. Ty’Son Williams and Trenton Cannon are on the active roster and the odds of Le’Veon Bell playing on Monday would increase exponentially if fears about the severity of his injury materialized.

Peters doesn’t have the same sort of company on the cornerback’s injury report, but his absence would be major against the Raiders on Monday and all other opponents who won’t have to fight him to try and thwart their passing plays .
