The Los Angeles Police Department arrested YouTuber Ray Diaz, accused of sexual assault. Diaz, 33, is a self-proclaimed "entrepreneur" and "creator" with over 3 million Instagram followers and 300,000 YouTube subscribers.
In a recent interview, 17-year-old Angelica Salek said she had been dating Diaz for more than a year. The clips posted on his social media would show that Diaz was violent, verbally and physically, which led to calls for his arrest, reported CBS Los Angeles.
"I was always so scared because he was always shouting at me," she said. "It was my fault if anyone ever suspected that we were going out with him, he would have screamed at me for hours."
In the same interview, Salek said that Diaz forced her to hide in bed when the police came to pick her up. "I had to be quiet and not make noise," she said.

Diaz responded to the charges and said that they both acted in the clip. "It's something you learn in a theater class if you study in New York," he said.
"LA police are aware of several social media posts related to a social media personality, alleging physical abuse and sex with a minor," LAPD tweeted on Thursday. "We take these allegations seriously.At present, the Department has instructed a group of investigators to consider these allegations."
Friday, LAPD named Diaz as the suspect in the case. He was detained in San Diego by the Special Assault Section of the Homicide Robbery Division, with the assistance of the San Diego Police Department. His bail was set at $ 500,000, the police said.
"We thank the public for their concern about this case," said Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore. tweeted Saturday. "We are better when we share the responsibility to ensure the safety of all members of our community."
