Ray Fisher has confirmed he has been removed from the cast of Warner Bros. ‘”The Flash” and will not be reprising her role as Cyborg in the comic book movie.
“I don’t agree with their decision at all, but it’s a decision that is not surprising,” Fisher said at the start of a two page article, published Wednesday evening.

WarnerMedia, the parent company of Warner Bros., took issue with Fisher’s claims that this had prompted him to quit the role, noting that he had previously publicly refused to work with Hamada.
“Last summer, Mr. Fisher was given the opportunity to reprise his role as Cyborg in ‘The Flash’,” WarnerMedia said in a statement. “Given his statement that he will not be participating in any films associated with Mr. Hamada, our production is moving forward now.”
WarnerMedia has also denied splitting up with Geoff Johns, the former DC director and producer, who Fisher said was leaving the company following his investigation into the actor’s allegations of misconduct on “Justice League”. “.

News of Fisher’s official departure from the upcoming film in the DC Extended Universe comes part of an ongoing back-and-forth between the actor and the studio, following an investigation into allegations of misconduct by Fisher on set by “Justice League” co-writer Joss Whedon and “empowering” demeanor by writer-producer Geoff Johns and producer Jon Berg launched in August 2020.
Throughout the investigation and since, Fisher has consistently spoken out about his claims via social media. In this latest article, Fisher reiterated Johns’ allegations of misconduct and accused Hamada of protecting Johns and Whedon by obstructing the studio’s investigation into his allegations.
Hamada was not in charge of DC Films during the production of “Justice League”. He took the lead in January 2018, two months after the “Justice League” box office attack. However, Fisher says Hamada has not lived up to his claims that Whedon’s covers of the film were plagued with a lot of abuse. Whedon assumed the directorial chair after original filmmaker Zack Snyder left production due to the death of his daughter.

The investigation into Fisher’s allegations ended in December, with Warners issuing a statement, saying, “WarnerMedia’s investigation into the film ‘Justice League’ has been completed and corrective action has been taken. On Thursday morning, WarnerMedia reiterated this message.

Fisher does not back down on his allegations. On social media, he offered to “take a polygraph test to support my allegations against [Hamada]. Although Fisher will not appear in “The Flash,” the actor has already completed work on the “Justice League” Snyder Cut, which is slated for release on HBO Max in March. His role in the “Snyder Cut” would be much more substantial than in the theatrical version of “Justice League”.
