Bad news for fans of the Razer digital gaming store, that the gaming hardware manufacturer has only launched in April. As part of the company's "realignment plans," it closes the Razer Game Store on February 28, "according to an ad in its shop that PC Gamer noticed Saturday.

"It was a privilege for us to recommend and offer you great digital gaming offerings," said the company based in Irvine, California. "We will invest in other ways to provide quality content and showcase game promotions via Razer Gold, our virtual credit system."

The store, launched for the first time on the American and European markets, and later Southeast Asia, exclusive gaming deals and device discounts.

The company will always honor orders placed in the store. Games already purchased will work, but you will need to collect Steam or Uplay product keys before the store closes.
