Those who see Marvel Studios Captain Marvel In theaters this weekend, Stan Lee has received two moving tributes, one of which is related to director and fan Kevin Smith. Beware of spoilersand discover Smith's response to see the movie below!
SPOILERS: Captain Marvel begins with a special tribute from the Marvel Studios logo to Stan Lee, with the numerous Marvel Comics brain movie cameos shown on the logo with the final message, "Thanks, Stan." Skrull aboard a Los Angeles train, she passes in front of a familiar face: Stan "The Man" Lee himself, sitting reading the screenplay of Smith's movie, 1995 Mallrats and practice the phrase "Trust me, true believer!" This is in reference to the cameo that he gave in this same film 23 years ago, alongside Jason Lee. Danvers smiled at him. Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel is led by the editorial team / direction of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, whose credits include Mississippi Grind and Half Nelson. A group of accomplished writers composed of stars wrote the screenplay, including Meg LeFauve (On the upside), Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy), Geneva Robertson-Dworet (tomb Raider), Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch (GLOW) and Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck.
