University of Utah football fans who listened to the opening episode of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” on Wednesday night may have noticed a familiar face.
Sharrieff Shah, cornerback coach / special teams coordinator, appeared in the episode, with his wife Jen being one of six housewives the show focuses on. Their two sons, Sharrieff Jr. and Omar, also appeared.
On the show’s website, Jen Shah is described as “the queen of her house and businesses as the CEO of three marketing companies.” Always decked out in designer labels, Jen loves throwing parties and spares no expense – it’s important to her that everyone knows she’s Utah’s best host.
With an extravagant personality and a sharp tongue, she can go from 0 to 100 very quickly, but usually comes back with an apology and love. But it’s not always fun and fun for Jen with this group of women when she quickly finds herself at the center of the drama.
Senior Sharrieff Shah, who played for Utah from 1990 to 1993, is in his ninth season on the Utes coaching staff. Previously, he was a lawyer, agent, trainer and radio reporter.
Sharrieff Shah Jr. played for the Utes from 2013 through 2016, making all of her special team appearances.
