MIAMI – A reality show personality and club owner in Charlotte, North Carolina, spent the night in a Miami jail after being arrested for fraud.

Peter Thomas, who participated in the show "Real Housewives of Atlanta," was arrested Friday at the Miami International Airport under a warrant for arrest.
Miami-Dade police said the arrest warrant against Thomas came from Louisiana, where he is accused of writing fraudulent checks.
Thomas, 58, said the allegations were false.
Prosecutors dismissed a charge of assaulting Thomas last year.
A former employee of her bar, Sports One, in downtown Charlotte, complained that she assaulted her at the club.
The prosecutor decided that she did not have enough evidence to prove her indictment in court.
In addition to Sports One, Thomas has a club in Charlotte, Club One.
