WASHINGTON (10TV) – A Texas company is reminiscent of a frozen breakfast product because it could be contaminated with small rocks.

Ruiz Food Products announced a recall of 246,000 pounds of Egg, Potato, Bacon and El Monterey cheese sauce rolls on Friday.

The items have been distributed to retailers nationwide.

Package of 8 family-size films containing "BREAKFAST OF SAUCE EGG SAUCE, MONOTEY, POTATOES, BACON & CHEESE" with the "Best if used" expiry dates of 17/01/2020 and 18/01/2020 as well as lot codes 19017 and 19018. the recalled products bear the EST establishment number. 17523A "on the back of the package.

The problem was discovered Friday after three consumer complaints. The company was informed of a "potential damage" associated with the recalled product. You should contact a health care provider if you are concerned about an illness or injury related to these objects.

The USDA urges consumers to check if their freezers are well packaged and not to consume them. Products must be discarded or returned to the retailer.
