In the wake of news that Red Dead Online will be getting an inexpensive standalone edition, Rockstar has announced that it is changing the way Daily Challenge sets work. When the standalone version arrives, the Daily Challenge Streaks will reset every 28 days, providing players with an RDO $ bonus and a treasure map.
Maintaining an unbroken streak of daily challenges has been a reliable way for Red Dead players to earn Gold, the in-game currency of Red Dead Online which is also available for purchase for real money in the form of Gold Bars. gold. By logging in and completing at least one Daily Challenge each day, players could maintain a healthy reward multiplier, which capped at 2.5x at 28 days.

The general consensus is that Rockstar is trying to steer players toward buying gold rather than cultivating it with the Daily Challenge Multiplier, which seems plausible given that the Red Dead Online standalone mode is priced at just 5. USD.
