December 1, Red Dead Online will bring a big change to the way these sets of challenges work. In the game, players can earn a large amount of gold by logging in each day and completing a single challenge. After 28 consecutive days, players see that number rise to 2.5x, where it peaks until the streak is broken. Unfortunately, the latest update will change that, with the multiplier resetting at the start of each month. For players who use this method as a way to earn gold, it will undoubtedly prove frustrating, forcing them to earn a little less.

As Rockstar has started expanding the game with more content over the past few months, some fans on social media are already describing this as another step backwards.
Fortunately, it appears that Rockstar is looking to expand the title’s user base. From December 1, newcomers will be able to check Red Dead Online as a separate version of Red Dead Redemption 2. On that day, the game will be released for the price of just $ 5 on all of its current platforms. That low price could be a big incentive for those who have been hesitant to check out the title, and there will even be a download option. Red Dead Redemption 2s solo experience separately, as well.
Time will tell how Red Dead OnlineThe changes made will impact the game as a whole. Players still have the option of buying in-game gold using real money, but no one can be faulted for wanting to avoid additional expenses. However, if the game’s standalone release results in greater general interest in the title, it’s easy to see why Rockstar might want to monetize the game a bit more. And, if there are more people playing, it could lead to more frequent updates, something the gaming community has been calling for for a long time.
