The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 2022 tour was already supposed to be a Event, with longtime guitarist John Frusciante touring alongside the band for the first time in 15 years. Now he appears to be even more unique, thanks to an extremely stacked list of openers. The list of (very) Special Guests: The Strokes, Haim, St. Vincent, A $ AP Rocky, Thundercat, Beck, Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals and King Princess. While they don’t all appear together, unfortunately, many artists only join on a few dates, although Thundercat is for most of the ride. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have probably become prominent as this is their first stadium tour after years as an arena actor. The 32-date world tour is the Chili Peppers’ first since their 2016-17 tour behind their latest album, The Getaway. And they might even have some new music when they debut, with drummer Chad Smith teasing a new Chili Peppers album with Frusciante. Find the dates and schedules below.
