When it was finally launched, the RED Hydrogen One was disappointing to say the least. Its poor performance, poor display and extremely high price have prevented it from living in fashion, but there is one thing that has allowed us to keep hope: its system of modules.
Unfortunately, it seems like it may not happen after all.
As reported by a user in the r / Android subdirectory, RED has recently updated its website so that the Hydrogen One product page no longer mentions phone modules. Where there was an entire section on the website that talked about modules for batteries, expandable storage and additional cameras, there is nothing left.
Although this, in itself, does not mean that RED completely abandons the modules for Hydrogen One, it is not yet very beautiful and does not offer much hope for a phone that already has so many difficulties.
The modules were supposed to be the only thing that had saved hydrogen, but at least for the moment, they disappeared from nothing.
