If you’ve been on the internet lately, you may have noticed some fans who are speculating and hoping that he will become the next James Bond.
If it’s not Idris, I totally support Rege-Jean Page as the next James Bond.
Well, the Anglo-Zimbabwean actor recently jumped on Tonight’s Show with Jimmy Fallon where he addressed the rumors.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate how amazing he looks in this turtleneck ?? If this photo was the poster for his James Bond movie, I guarantee you half the country would release it.
“The internet thinks a lot of things, and it’s one of the nicest. So I’m happy as far as it’s going,” he says with a smile.
“I think there might be an element of cultural translation to be done here. If you are a Brit and you do something famous that people enjoy, then people start to say the B word. “It’s like a merit badge. You get the B-word merit badge,” he continued.
“I’m very, very happy to have the badge. I’m happy to be in such good company with people who have the badge. But it’s a badge,” he concluded.
Am I the only one who is super disappointed to hear this ?! Regé would make a nice Leap! Are you listening, casting agents? CHARMING!!
