Reggie Bullock keeps receipts after surprising Knicks start

At least one current New York Knick hasn’t forgotten what was said about the team during the offseason.

The Knicks got off to a surprising 4-3 start, currently the fifth best ever in the Eastern Conference, behind new head coach Tom Thibodeau. After finishing 21-45 in 2019-20, few expected anything from this team – and goaltender Reggie Bullock is apparently keeping the receipts.

“Don’t believe the hype… we are still not ‘S – T’ like they counted us on all levels Bullock tweeted Monday evening.

Bullock is in his second year with the Knicks, having signed with New York as a free agent in 2019. In seven games, the starting shooting guard is averaging 8.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1 , 7 assists in 29.7 minutes per game.

The Knicks toppled Trae Young and the explosive Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, and remain a pleasant surprise at the start of the season.
