Reggie Fils-Aime, longtime president and chief operating officer of Nintendo of America, will retire this spring, the company announced on Thursday with a joint statement. Son-Aime will officially retire on April 15, when Bowser will assume the title of president of Nintendo of America. Prior to holding his current position at Nintendo, he worked for EA. Bowser also had a comment to share in the press release regarding Son-Aime's retirement. "It's my great chance to work with Reggie and guide him for four years to Nintendo of America," he said, before moving on to a threatening promise.
