The Professional Football Hall of Fame unveiled Thursday its list of modern – day candidates for the 2020 promotion.

The list includes 122 eligible players to be selected in the class next year. The list will be reduced to 25 in November and 15 finalists in January. The finalists will then be presented to the 48-member professional football hall of fame committee at its annual "Saturday Selection" meeting, the day before the Super Bowl LIV.
