Release date of OnePlus 7T, prices, news and features

[ad_1]

The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro have been available for less than a quarter of a year, but we have already seen the company announce the OnePlus 7T.

The new phone has just been shown at an event in India where the company also unveiled the OnePlus TV.

So shortly after the OnePlus 7, we do not expect a lot of significant changes for the new handset, but we list everything that has changed below. It's a revolutionary story, so feel free to share new information.

Cut to the hunt

  • What is it? The next OnePlus phone
  • When did he go out? Announcement announced in India, the United States and the United Kingdom on October 10
  • How much will it cost? Much – but less than most flagship products

OnePlus 7T release date and price

Until now, we have only had the confirmation of the launch of the OnePlus 7T in India. That's because we have to wait until October 10 to hear the company's plans for its release in the UK or the US.

The company hosts live broadcasts for these two countries, where we expect to hear similar details about the OnePlus 7T Pro.

The price has not been officially unveiled, even at the launch in India. The original OnePlus 7 costs £ 499 (about $ 640, AU $ 930) for its smaller size. We were expecting a similar amount for this newer unit.

OnePlus 7T design and display

The company has now adapted its 90Hz refresh rate technology to the standard OnePlus 7T.

Originally, this was a feature that only appeared on the OnePlus 7 Pro handset, but the company has now integrated it into the cheapest version of the phone.

There is no 3.5mm headphone jack on this device – it's something the company has abandoned a few generations ago – but the bottom edge of the device features 39, a USB-C port.

The camera located at the back of the phone has also changed in circular appearance, but other than that, it looks a lot like the OnePlus 7.

The phone comes with a frosted glass back, and it will come in a variety of colors, including the ice blue you can see at the top of this page and a shade of gray too.

OnePlus 7T OS and specifications

It is confirmed that the OnePlus 7T is equipped with Android 10, and that the company has also integrated the OxygenOS overlay.

It's his own design that changes the appearance of Android. Plus, many new features, including a new color playback mode, give you saturated colors for a better reading experience.

It also includes a feature called Zen Mode, which debuted on the OnePlus 7, allowing you to turn off your phone for 20 minutes or more to encourage you to not use these features.

There is also a new mode called Work Life Balance that allows you to place certain applications in workgroups or hobbies. This way you can be limited to use Twitter when you work, but you will still have access to Gmail. Although OnePlus did not say with certainty, the company hinted that it was an exclusive feature in India.

The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset is integrated with the OnePlus 7T. So you should get some level of performance. However, we do not know how much RAM or storage will be available.

As for the battery, OnePlus has included a new version of Warp Charging that runs 27% faster than the company's previous handset and can charge the device in an hour. The phone also comes with stereo speakers so you can not inadvertently mute the sound with the placement of your hands.

There is a haptic engine on board that allows the phone to vibrate while playing.

There is also a new feature called OnePlus Pay, which is a specific contactless payment system created by the company. We think it will work the same way as Google Pay, but we do not know for the moment when it will be available.

This announcement was announced at the launch of the company in India. It could therefore be a feature specific to India.

At the back of the phone is a 48MP wide-angle camera combined with a 2x telephoto camera and a standard 117-degree camera. We have not yet learned the exact specifications of the second camera sensors.

One of the most important improvements here is a new mode called Macro Lens that lets you get awesome macro shots using the rear camera. The examples shown on stage were impressive and we are looking forward to trying it out.

A new mode called Super Stable combines an "ultra-precise gyro" and electronic image stabilization to create more stable video sequences.

Portrait mode also receives upgrades allowing you to use telephoto for Bokeh mode. The Night Scape mode has also come to the ultra-wide angle camera on the OnePlus 7T.
