Release dates of the video game for April 2019: PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC

April is officially underway, which means that we are almost half way to 2019. This year, some major titles have already arrived on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, and although this month is relatively quiet compared to March, there are still some important games on the way to each platform.

Headlining the April versions: Mortal Kombat 11 and Days Gone, Sony's long zombie development game for PS4. Although these have attracted the most attention, they are hardly the only titles that are worthy of being sought after. This month is also seeing a number of older games coming on new platforms. Cuphead and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, two most coveted titles in 2017, were broadcast on Switch, while Square Enix featured Final Fantasy X / X-2 Remaster and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age at Switch and Xbox One.

Numerous other titles are also appearing this month, from the planned Super Meat Boy sequel, Super Meat Boy Forever, to SteamWorld Quest: The Hand of Gilgamech and BoxBoy + BoxGirl, the first installment of Switch in the clever puzzle of HAL. series. Nintendo launches this month the VR Nintendo Labo Kit, the fourth game in the company's growing line of DIY games / peripherals. The complete package includes a game card and an assortment of creative materials to assemble six unique Toy-Con accessories, which, when combined with Switch hardware, allow you to play a handful of mini-games – and even some Switch titles such as The Legend. of Zelda: Breath of Nature – in basic VR. The full Labo VR kit costs $ 80, while the starter kit costs $ 40.

More than a year after its first release on Xbox One and PC, Microsoft and Studio developer MDHR introduced Cuphead, their critically acclaimed platform, to Nintendo Switch on April 18th. Not only will the Switch version offer the same challenge A gun gameplay and hand-drawn 1930s-style visuals that have made it a hit so popular on other platforms. It will also benefit from Xbox Live support via a post-launch update, allowing you to unlock achievements for the game even when you play on the Nintendo Hybrid Console.

Mortal Kombat 11, NetherRealm's latest series of fighting games, arrives on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch later this month. After the events of Mortal Kombat X in 2015, the game tells a tedious story in which the past and present versions of the characters face each other and must end the machinations of Kronika, the Guardian of Time. He also has an impressive list of fighters, ranging from favorites like Scropion and Liu Kang to brand new characters like the Old God Cetrion.

It's been a long time now, but Sony's exclusive PS4 zombie survival game, Days Gone, is due out on April 26th. The game places players in the role of Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter who travels the open world, post-apocalyptic remnants of the Pacific Northwest on his motorcycle, battling creatures resembling zombies known as of Freakers and coming to the rescue of the other survivors.
