Epic Games has released the full release notes for the Fortnite v10.10 content update. Today's update introduces the Junk Rift.

Games Epic yesterday updated the news feed in the game to announce the next upcoming item in Fortnite Battle Royale, the Junk Rift. An announcement for the time and date of update was then posted.

The full patch notes for today's update have just been released. They contain details about the Junk Rift. Gloved consumables were also added to the game, which resulted in the explosion of the football stadium separation tag. The introduction of glichés consumables sees the return of Shadow Stones and Hop Rocks

Glitched consumables
They say you are what you consume, but these consumables do not even know what they are. An anti-return beacon exploded, creating dreadful objects that keep turning into other forageable objects.

WEAPONS + ARTICLES

  • Junk Rift
    • A disposable object that breaks on contact and generates a large object in the sky that collapses on the ground.
      • The object in free fall:
        • Damage the players and destroy everything in its path.
        • Creates a small shock wave on landing that damages the players and destroys everything in their radius.
      • Pity:
        • Direct hit: 200
          • Direct hits slightly repel players.
        • Impact wave hit: 100
        • Both strikes immediately destroy vehicles and destructible objects during impact.
    • Drops in stacks of 2.
    • Maximum size of the battery: 4
    • Epic rarity.
    • Available from Booty Booty, Chests, Drops of Supply and Llamas.
  • Glitched consumables
    • The glitched consumables are on the site of the blast. These switch randomly between different forageable elements of the past.
      • Apples
      • Mushrooms
      • Coconut
        • Grant 5 hit points (sum of the health of a shield).
      • peppers
        • Increases the player's movement speed for a short time.
      • Hop Rocks
        • Decrease the gravity of the player for a short time.
      • Shade stone
        • Turns the players into a ghost for a short time, temporarily increasing their movement speed slightly and letting them make their way through the structures.

  • The card has changed! The Rift Beacon at the recreation center malfunctioned, causing an explosion that left a giant crater and created glitched consumables.
    • Gloved consumables can only be found at the crater.
