Remaining Episodes Of HBO Drama To Air On HBO Max This Week – Watch Promo – Deadline

The five remaining episodes of HBO’s freshman drama Industry will air on WarnerMedia’s brother HBO Max this Friday, November 27, making the entire season available for the holiday weekend. The announcement was made at the end of tonight’s episode. (watch the promo above)

This is the first time that new episodes of an original HBO series will premiere on HBO Max; so far the HBO originals, including Industry, land on HBO Max after their premium cable network premiere. While available on HBO Max, the remaining five episodes of Industry will also air on HBO weekly on Mondays at 10 p.m., with the final two episodes of the season airing consecutively on December 21.

Industry, who follows a group of young graduates competing for a limited number of permanent positions at a large international bank in London, has been a very modest linear notation performer for HBO since its inception on November 9. It airs at 10 p.m. on Mondays, a night that is less established with the original programming, and will continue to air in that slot on the cable network.

From new designers Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, Industry gives a glimpse into the black box of “high finance” through the eyes of a stranger, Harper Stern (Myha’la Herrold), a talented young woman from upstate New York. Following a group of young graduates fueled by ambition, youth, romance and drugs, the series examines issues of gender, race, class, and privilege in the workplace as these impressionable young minds begin. to forge their identity in the pressure cooker environment and the sensory blitz of Pierpoint & Co’s trading room – where meritocracy is promised, but hierarchy reigns supreme.

Herrold, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, David Jonsson and Nabhaan Rizwan play the roles of “The Graduates”, with Conor MacNeill, Freya Mavor, Will Tudor and Ken Leung as “Management”.
