More than 69,000 pounds of frozen and ready-to-eat chicken strips are being recalled because they could contain pieces of metal and other materials, the US Department of Agriculture announced. Tyson Foods announced the recall Thursday night. The recalled items were produced on November 30th. , 2018, and include the following products: 25-ounce packs of "Fully Cooked Tyson, Frozen Buffalo Style Chicken, Ribbed Meat Donuts and Buffalo Style Sauce" with an expiry date of November 30, 2019.   • 25-ounce plastic packet packets of frozen donuts "Tyson Crunchy Whole Chicken Chicken Breast Chicken Fritters" with an expiry date of November 30, 2019, case codes 3348CNQ0419, 3348CNQ0420, 3348CNQ0421 and 3348CNQ0422 , and individual bag time stamp from 19:00 to 22:59.

The items were shipped to retail outlets nationwide and for institutional purposes in Michigan and Washington. A retail distribution list was not available Thursday night.

Two consumers complained about the presence of raw material in chicken strip products, said Tyson Foods.

The company stated that no health issues related to the products had been confirmed.
