Remy Ma turns around and stops for the assault on the star "LHH" Brittney Taylor

It took a few weeks, but Rémy Ma is in custody for allegedly being hit Brittney Taylor at a concert last month.

The police told TMZ that the rapper went to the police on Wednesday, accompanied by his lawyer. We are told that she was registered for assault of offense.

As we reported … the star of "Love & Hip Hop New York" said Remy hit her April 16 behind the scenes at the benefit concert for Pretty Lou at Irving Plaza, near Union Square.

While the police were investigating the incident, Taylor Paré to bring a civil action against Remy by asking the cops to preserve all evidence of the alleged assault, including surveillance footage.

Taylor's lawyer, Sanford Rubenstein, tells TMZ that it's real life, not reality TV, and that Brittany is a victim. He stressed that Britain "has confidence in our justice system and will continue to cooperate fully with the authorities".
