Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) said on Monday he saw curious QAnon freshman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) lead a “large group” on a tour of the Capitol in the days preceding the riots. Cohen said he was not sure if anyone in the crowd subsequently participated in the violent Jan.6 attack on the Capitol. Democrats alleged that a GOP colleague made a “reconnaissance” visit to the Capitol the day before crowds stormed the building. Over the weekend, Boebert denied being a member – although no one accused her by name – saying she had guided “no outside group of ‘insurgents’.”

Speaking to CNN on Monday, Cohen – who is on the Judiciary Committee – said Representative John Yarmuth “refreshed my memories yesterday” that they saw Boebert “take a group of people for a visit sometime after the 3 and before the 6th. “Boebert has yet to publicly respond to Cohen’s comments.
