According to a report by Darren Rovell and Action Network, the Alliance of American Football will suspend all football operations today.
Rovell's report says the new owner, Tom Dundon, will lose about $ 70 million on his investment. Dundon makes decisions contrary to the wishes of co-founders Charlie Ebersol and Bill Polian.
Dundon acquired a majority stake in the league in mid-February, the league announcing its commitment of $ 250 million.

Ebersol and Polian wanted the league summit to grow for three years before trying to make it a NFL food system. However, Dundon wanted this to happen before the end of the season and told USA Today last week that if that did not happen, he would have to make a decision regarding the closing of the league. He was trying to bend the AAF to get an agreement with the NFL Players Association.
This agreement with the NFLPA would have included a flexible system between AAF players and NFL training teams. But, it is not clear if any discussions have even taken place.
If the AAF folds today, it would have lasted 52 days from the end of his first match. Commanders are 5-3 this season and are online to make the playoffs if the season continues. They will play Memphis Express at 11am Saturday.
