It won’t take long for Kansas City Chiefs fans to get their first glimpse of wide receiver Josh Gordon, according to NFL and FOX Sports Network ‘ Peter Schrager. Appearing on FOX’s “NFL Kickoff” on Sunday morning, Schrager suggested Gordon will be a player to watch as the Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night football.

“I was told he should not only dress but be part of the game plan [Sunday night] for the Chiefs in the massive AFC Championship rematch against the Buffalo Bills, ”said Schrager. “He trained. He’s soaked up the playbook like a sponge, and they have pieces designed to move Josh Gordon forward.

The Chiefs officially signed Gordon to the 53-man roster on Tuesday – and with Schrager’s report, it looks like the team feels comfortable enough with his progress to have him active on Sunday night.

The Chiefs release their inactive roster about 90 minutes before kickoff – Sunday, it’s around 5:50 pm We’ll keep you posted here at Arrowhead Pride.
