Report: Forwards return Doug Martin to replace injured Isaiah Crowell

Ten weeks later, the Raiders could sign to replace Isaiah Crowell, injured, including Doug Martin, who was injured. The Raiders have renamed the star of 2018, according to Mike Garaffolo of NFL Network.

I will just repeat what I said in the previous post to explain this change.

You could certainly do worse than invite the Douggernaut to come back. When Marshawn broke down last season, Martin ran well, averaging 4.6 yards per run, proving that he was better than his previous two seasons in Tampa. In addition, he is familiar with the raider attack, so he can intervene without wasting time. Having it there waiting to be signed is a nice luxury for the Raiders.

This movement always seemed to make sense. But the Raiders have found a younger option in Crowell in the meantime. Crowell now suffering an injury to Achilles, the Raiders lost no time calling Martin and inviting the 30-year-old to come back for another round.
