Max Kellerman came out at The Morning Stephen A. Smith Spectacle a.k.a First take. Michael Irvin could be there, at least from time to time.

Michael McCarthy of FrontOfficeSports.com reports that the Hall of Fame catcher could join the show on Monday.

McCarthy reports that Marcus Spears, Keyshawn Johnson and Jay Williams are others who will appear from time to time across from Smith. The reported plan confirms that indeed, the program will be less First T. and more Stéphane A.

Irvin previously worked for ESPN and he’s extremely entertaining on TV. He currently works for the NFL Network and would likely keep this gig.

Smith has become the lifeblood of ESPN, with several shows throughout the day, appearances on various other platforms, a recurring role on ABC General hospital, and a passage on Monday evening as a welcome host Jimmy Kimmel Live, which was surely destined to be the precursor of its own late night show. Whatever you think of Smith’s speech or opinions or extensive knowledge, his work ethic is admirable.
