The Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers have a deal. But it’s not in writing. Which means it’s not worth the paper it’s not written on.

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reports that the Packers have verbally agreed to trade Rodgers if he still wants to come out after the 2021 season.

However, it is not in writing; it’s a handshake. KFAN’s Paul Allen and NBC’s Chris Simms said Rodgers believed the Packers agreed to trade Rodgers last offseason, and the team had returned.

If that’s right, why trust them again?

Add in the fact that Rodgers’ reworked contract still allows them to pursue $ 11.5 million in unearned signing bonuses, and the Packers can dig in again, as they did this year.
