Report: Remy Ma goes to the police for alleged assault

Nearly five years after being released from prison, Rémy Ma would once again be in custody.

According to sources TMZ, the rapper is now under police custody after being accused of hitting his old Love and hip-hop in New York co-star, Brittney Taylor two weeks ago. The celebrity information website indicates that Remy herself surrendered on Wednesday, May 1 and that she had been listed for assault.

Taylor, who posted an Instagram post pointing to Remy two weeks ago, said the rapper had hit him behind the scenes at the Pretty Lou Benefit concert at Irving Plaza in New York on April 16th. New York Daily NewsTaylor said she was attacked by Remy after the Bronx rapper asked him about his involvement in an attack on his daughter-in-law, Dejanae.

"What happened with me and Dej in Miami was that I saved her – I saved her life, and [Remy] became aggressive [when Brittney told her at Irving], Said Taylor NYDN. "[Remy] It was like it was not what I had heard, and she punched me in the face.

Taylor added, "I do not think people can get their hands on someone who is not naughty, who is genuine."
