WWE Superstar and former UFC champion Ronda Rousey was reported to have been seriously injured on the verge of shooting a TV show last week.

According to TMZ, Rousey played her role for the show 9-1-1 in Mexico when she accidentally slammed a door on her finger. Rousey would have finished the scene and would not have recognized the injury until the end of the shooting.

Rousey was reportedly injured in the middle finger and ring finger in the accident. In addition to fracturing the tip of his ring finger, Rousey almost severed the major's tendon and TMZ provided an NSFW photo of the injury.

After apparently repairing her middle finger with a bolt and screws, she resumed shooting the next day.

In April, Rousey fractured his right hand during his main match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. Rousey has been operated on and has not appeared in WWE programs since then.

Rousey gave no indication of his intention to return to the WWE, but the company said in January that she was under contract until April 2021.

In one of her first matches at WWE, Rousey won the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam 2018, and she held it until WrestleMania where she took it. dropped to Lynch.

Prior to joining WWE, Rousey was an accomplished UFC fighter with a career record of 12-2 with nine bid wins and three knockouts.

Since leaving the UFC, she has built a good resume that includes roles in movies such as The Expendables 3, Furious 7, entourage and Thousand 22.
