REPORT: Several people in WWE argued against Randy Orton segment with Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt

WWE opened Monday’s Raw episode with “A Moment of Bliss.” The segment continued the feud between The Fiend and Randy Orton as Alexa Bliss interviewed “The Viper.”

Orton opened up about his history with Bray Wyatt and how he had to find the weakness and vulnerability of The Fiend, who is Bliss.

This led to The Fiend appearing only for Orton to have Bliss in his arms before returning her to the former Universal Champion after Wyatt begged for him. Orton did it and then walked out of the ring and said, “Who’s laughing now?”

PWinsider.com has some behind-the-scenes details not only about this segment, but the current creative flow in the business as well.

As for the segment, it has been said to be 100% of Vince McMahon’s vision. The report adds: “We are told that several argued against the segment, believing it to be weak and in need of revision, but you cannot cancel the town hall.

Finally, the current creative process falls directly into the hands of WWE President and Bruce Prichard. Some sources have described Prichard “as the most powerful person in WWE right now besides McMahon.”

Currently everything flows through Prichard and his word has been described as “very evangelical” to McMahon. As a result, this led to a lot of frustration and heat towards Prichard among the wrestlers.
