Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater returned to practice for the Broncos on Thursday and it was a good sign for his chances of clearing the concussion protocol in time to play the Steelers on Sunday.
Looks like it’s gonna happen. Mike Klis of KUSA reports that in Denver, Bridgewater is expected to be cleared by an independent neurologist on Friday, to fully train with the team and to be part of the lineup this weekend. .
If anything changed on that front, Drew Lock would start for the Broncos 3-1.
Bridgewater was 7 of 16 for 65 yards and a touchdown before sustaining an injury in last week’s loss. He completed more than 76% of his passes during their three-game opener streak.
