Ravens running back Mark Ingram has released his own news, although it is expected.
Ingram tweeted a farewell letter to Baltimore minutes before several reports emerged that the Ravens informed the running back they are releasing him on Tuesday.
Ingram played his last game for the Ravens in Week 17. He has been in good health in both playoff games.
The Ravens save $ 5 million in cap space by freeing it up.
In 2020, Ingram had a career low of 72 carries and a career low of 299 rushing yards.
Ingram, 31, has 7,324 rushing yards in 10 seasons in the NFL, including eight with the Saints. He has 9,219 scrum yards in his career and 72 total touchdowns.
