While Paul George would have gone to Los Angeles, the Oklahoma City Thunder is currently in talks with Russell Westbrook on the future of the star guard with the franchise.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Westbrook and his agent are in talks with General Manager Sam Presti about next steps, which could include an exchange this summer.

Westbrook is four years old and has $ 170 million left in his contract, but Paul George's trade against a series of draft picks could mark a change in mindset as Oklahoma City seeks to reorganize his roster.
Westbrook spent his entire 11-year career in Oklahoma City, averaging 23.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 8.4 assists, while winning the 2017 Kia MVP Award.
