Representative Mark Green has called on Charman Adam Schiff, a member of the House of Intelligence Committee, to resign from his post after the conclusion of Robert Mueller's investigation into President Trump and his administration.

His comments came two days after the release of a summary of the report by Attorney General William Barr, who stated that the investigation for several years could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the President Trump or his administration have agreed with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election.

Rep. Green, R-Tenn., Said at an appearance in "America's Newsroom" on Tuesday that the situation was "ridiculous", and described Schiff as "conspiracy theorist".

"In fact, the only evidence of collusion is between the liberal media and the DNC to launch the 2020 elections," he added.

Green is not alone in his call for Schiff's resignation. Kevin McCarthy and Kellyanne Conway also expressed their opinion that the California Democrat should give up his presidency.

On the other hand, Schiff does not seem too bothered by the criticisms of his political colleagues.
