WASHINGTON – Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi confessed that she was tired of talking about President Donald Trump. She told night host Jimmy Kimmel that the impeachment would not lead to the dismissal of the president, Republicans in the Senate being in the "pocket" of Trump.

Kimmel, a frequent critic of the president, insisted during his Thursday night appearance against Pelosi on the growing number of Democrats in favor of Trump's removal from office and the apparent suggestion of special advocate Robert Mueller suggesting this week that holding the responsible president reports to Congress.

"We need you to get in and take care of you," Kimmel told Pelosi.

Pelosi reiterated his belief that the president hoped to be dismissed, explaining that Republicans in the Senate were "completely in Donald Trump's pocket" and were probably blocking efforts.

"He knows it's not a good idea to be dismissed, but the bright side is that he thinks he'd be exonerated by the US Senate, and a school of thought says that if the Senate acquits you, why prosecute him in the private sector when he is no longer president? "Pelosi told the ABC host.

After Kimmel had expressed general support for legislation dealing with issues such as stricter firearms laws and asked how Democrats could fight dishonest information from the White House, Pelosi admitted: I'm done with him, talking about him. "

Kimmel, highlighting the story of the tense meetings between her and the president, made one last piece of advice about Trump: "The next time you attend a meeting, you have to negotiate with him, bring McNuggets."

For weeks, Pelosi tried to block calls within his party to begin impeachment proceedings. These calls became stronger this week after Mueller made his first public statements since he began investigating the president's intervention and the elections in Russia, explaining that Trump's charge of obstructing to justice was "not an option" for the special advocate's office because of a policy of the Department of Justice.
