FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. – A group dedicated to finding missing horses said that a South Carolina pony, Pikachu, had been found dead.
Stolen Horse International is involved after Kate Nichols, owner of Hidden Pasture Farm, said last week that her miniature palomino filly was gone in one night.
She said that she had been searching for the 2-month-old pony, which weighed just 27 kilos. She found no sign of Pikachu's attack by another animal and therefore appealed for help online. She said she believed Pikachu was in danger and that someone from her neighborhood was to blame. She offered a $ 1,000 reward for the safe return of the animal.
WHNS-TV reported that Laurens County MPs said Pikachu was found dead Wednesday night in a barn, where it seems like a haystack fell on it.
