Research of Maleah Davis: a picture shows the ex-fiance of mom carrying a garbage bag

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – We receive for the first time exclusive surveillance photos showing Darion Vence, the ex-fiance of Maleah Davis' mother, before and after the disappearance of her 4-year-old son.

In one photo, a man identified as being Vence is seen leaving the family's apartment last Friday with a laundry basket and a black garbage bag inside.

Sources believe that Vence appears on a second photo showing his arrival at Sugar Land Methodist Hospital on Saturday night. His one year old son can be seen in his arms, but Maleah is not with them.

According to police, Vence was allegedly attacked last Friday by three Hispanic men while he was preparing to take Maleah's mother, Brittany Bowens, to the Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Vence said that he was with Maleah and his son when he remained unconscious on the side of the road. When he regained consciousness, Vence stated that he had found himself on Route 6 near the First Colony Mall.

On Wednesday, the authorities told ABC13 Eyewitness News that The history of Vence has changed several times when they interrogated him.

Friday, Maleah's mother made troubling allegations of abuse against her former fiancée at a press conference alongside community activist Quanell X.

Quanell X acknowledged that Bowens had never reported suspected abuse to the police.
