The latest remake of the beloved survival-horror title by Capcom Resident Evil 2, was an instant hit among veteran players and newcomers to the longstanding franchise. While all eyes are on Capcom to see if it will redo the third game in the series, the publisher and developer have previously stated that Resident Evil 3 is possible if the fans ask for it.

We are now awaiting official confirmation from Resident Evil 3 Once again, the modders took matters into their own hands and created a mod that once again stars veteran Jill Valentine and her horrible escape from the notorious villain Nemesis. A mod replaces Claire Redfield's character model with Jill Valentine (created by EvilLord) and Mr. X with Nemesis (created by Zero).

Although a mod Nemesis already exists in the remake, this one from Moderator Zero has actually replaced Mr. X with a Nemesis character model, rather than using his Super Tyrant version. In addition, each time the player meets the player S.T.A.R.S. hunter, players would hear the soundtrack of Nemesis reminiscent of horrible memories of the 1999 game.

Of course, the RE3 mod would not be complete without the heroine of the original game. The EvilLord mod features a redesigned character model by Claire Redfield, wearing the iconic Jill Valentine outfit and hairstyle. Fans of Jill Valentine would surely be happy to see her again.

Given that Resident Evil 3 also takes place in Raccoon City, the character's mods placed in the bottom of the Resident Evil 2 remake provides players with a fairly clear picture of what RE3 remake would look like if Capcom decided to do it. This mod is not the first time that Claire Redfield's character model is replaced Resident Evil 2.

A few days ago, a moder exchanged Claire who caused an unofficial cameo from Captain Marvel, whose film was recently shown in theaters last week. Unfortunately, the mod did not include any of Captain Marvel's various powers, since it functioned purely as an aesthetic modification.

Resident Evil 2 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
