Resident Evil Insider Says Resident Evil 7 Will Get Upgrade to Enjoy PS5 and Xbox Series X Features | S.

This week has been a busy one for Resident Evil fans after Capcom officially released a ton of new information for the next main episode in the series, Resident Evil: Village. The game has been officially confirmed for release next May, and while there is a lot to look forward to in the next chapter of the series, those who want to revert to its predecessor may well be looking forward to a new generation. improvements.

On Twitter, well known resident Evil insider Dusk Golem shared some additional information which was not revealed during yesterday’s RE Showcase by Capcom, including that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will apparently get a next-gen upgrade on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. In addition, it was also mentioned in their tweets that virtual reality was also in the works for RE Village, but it’s not yet clear whether the title will support the VR feature at launch. While this is only a rumor at the moment, Dusk Golem was previously known to share specific details about Resident Evil: Village just before its launch, giving some credibility to the claims.

As this year marks the 25th anniversary of the original title’s release, it’s likely that Capcom has plenty more in store to celebrate the series’ milestone that was not announced at RE Showcase. Apart RE Village, the studio is also coming out Resident Evil Re: Verse as a free multiplayer experience, which pits players against each other like many of the series’ most iconic heroes and villains. Likewise, it wouldn’t be too surprising if we ended up seeing RE7 get a next-gen upgrade to coincide with the series anniversary.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
