Resident Evil Village: first gameplay presentation revealed

A Resident Evil Showcase will take place on January 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. GMT and will feature a Resident Evil Village tour, new trailer, very first gameplay, and more Resident Evil news. via Resident Evil Twitter, this showcase will be hosted by Brittney Brombacher of What’s Good Games, and Capcom has shared a short teaser video of what fans can expect next week.

Resident Evil Village was first announced during the reveal of the PS5 in 2020, and is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021. Capcom has said it is “researching” Xbox One versions. and PS4. Capcom has since revealed a bit more about Resident Evil Village, including that it takes place in a desolate, snowy village and that players will once again play as Ethan Winters from Resident Evil 7.

Fans of the horror franchise can expect a much more open space than Resident Evil 7, as they will face horrific creatures, including werewolves.

Resident Evil Village has made our list of all the great games coming up in 2021, including Halo Infinite, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Horizon Forbidden West.
