Capcom has revealed a ton of good news regarding Resident Evil Village in the last two days. Not only do we now know when the game will be released, but a new demo for PlayStation 5 players has also been released. Amid all this positive news for Town, however, perhaps the best information is that gambling won’t be as tiring on your wallet if you’re looking to grab it back.
Pre-orders for Resident Evil Village are now officially live for all platforms and with this it has been revealed that the next-gen iteration of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will not be more expensive than the versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Given that RE Village It was originally believed to be an upcoming game on next-gen consoles, many believed it would have a higher price tag. Luckily, it won’t and the game will only cost $ 59.99.
If you’re wondering why that price could have been any different in the first place, since the release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X in late 2020, the retail value of some next-gen games has been higher than we’ve become accustomed to. at. The price of some titles has dropped to $ 69.99, but this is not a consistent practice across the video game industry. That said, there is still a $ 69.99 version of Town which will be available on all platforms. This iteration has been dubbed the Deluxe Edition and it will come with a new DLC for the game. Some of these additions in the DLC include a samurai weapon, a found image filter, and exclusive artwork.

This version will set you back $ 219.99 and will include a Steelbook box, poster, art book, and a large statue of Chris Redfield.
