THE CITY OF OKLAHOMA – Due to rain and poor ground conditions at the US Hall of Fame Stadium, the final day of the 2012 Softball 2019 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship has been canceled.

Friday's match between Oklahoma and Kansas was suspended at the top of the fourth and did not meet the minimum number of innings required to count as an official match (five innings); therefore, the game will not be reflected in the team's record or stats.

Because all the pool games were not over, the Big 12 will not name a champion this season. The automatic bid for the conference at the NCAA Softball Championship will go to the regular season champion, Oklahoma.

The Sooners finished the 2019 championship game 18-0 to become the first Big 12 team to remain undefeated two seasons in a row. OR won his eighth consecutive regular season title in 2019.

The Sooners will learn their playoff clashes on Sunday night as support for the NCAA 2019 softball tournament is announced live on ESPN2 at 8pm. CT. Regional NCAA tournaments will take place May 17-19 at campus sites.
