Real Housewives of Atlanta Halts Season 13 Filming After ‘Production Crew’ Tested Positive For COVID-19
Filming stopped during season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta due to fear of the coronavirus.
Sources revealed to PEOPLE magazine that a member of the “ production team ” tested positive for COVID-19.
While it is not clear whether any of the women came into contact with the person who tested positive, Bravo Production takes extreme precautions to ensure all safety measures are taken.

“ The set follows rigorous COVID-19 security protocols, including contract tracing, ” a source told the publication. “To be on the safe side, production stops for two weeks.”
Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams and newcomer Drew Sidora are all scheduled for the franchise’s 13th season.

In early November, Bravo’s Family Karma was also shut down due to a positive test from the production team.
RHOA joins a host of productions currently filming in Georgia, including Dear Evan Hansen, Dynasty season four, Mama June, and a host of Tyler Perry projects.

Similar to other state protocols, the guidelines include: frequent hand washing, use of personal protective equipment and face masks, avoid physical contact, and limit the use of shared objects.
Georgia has recorded a total of almost 400,000 positive coronavirus cases, with more than 8,000 deaths to date.
The most populous areas, Fulton and Gwinnett counties, have both recorded more than 30,000 cases.
The number of COVID-19 in the United States is currently over 10 million cases and has recorded an estimated 241,000 deaths.
