Rick and MortyThe newest fan favorite addition in Season 5, Planetina, has now come to life with a stunning body paint cosplay! The fifth season of the Adult Swim animated series is now halfway through, and every episode so far has been radically different from each other. This was especially true for the third episode of the series, “A Rickconvenient Mort,” which has one of the most emotional endings for Morty in the series so far. It was so important that fans definitely felt for him and Planetina at the end of it all.
The third episode introduced Morty to a new love interest, Planetina, who was an amalgamation of elements (and most notably a parody of Captain Planet and the Planetary voiced by Community star Alison Brie) a few decades older than Morty, and the two quickly fell into a deep and intense relationship. During the episode, they found out that they weren’t meant for each other, and Morty ended their relationship at the end of the episode. All of these factors have made Planetina a huge fan favorite, and now she has come to life with a stunning @natylikespizza cosplay on Instagram! Check it out below:
Planetina is just one of the new wild characters we’ve been introduced to in season five so far, but fans are already counting the days until her potential return. The way her and Morty relationship ended might make that difficult, but there would likely be a lot of comedy that one could tap into due to how difficult a reunion between these two was. There are still several episodes left in the season, so who knows what might happen.
